If you no longer want your Fitbit account, you can delete it from your Fitbit app for iPhone or Android, or through the Fitbit website.

You might want to do this if you no longer have a Fitbit and want to delete the personal information you stored with it, or if you want to “start over” with a new device and eliminate the old data associated with an older Fitbit.

If you change your mind, you have seven days after deleting the account to restore your data before it’s permanently erased. After seven days, the account cannot be recovered.

Fitbit deletes all data from deleted accounts within 30 to 90 days, though the company may preserve data on its servers according to its privacy policy.
